We use cookies on our website. These are small text files that are automatically created by your browser and stored on your device when you visit our website. Information is stored in the cookie that is related to the specific terminal device used. However, this does not mean that we obtain immediate knowledge of your identity. The use of cookies is initially intended to make the use of our website more pleasant for you:

For example, we use so-called session cookies to recognize that you have already visited individual sub-pages of our website. If you have registered, your password will be saved for the duration of your visit to our website and when you change sub-pages, so that you do not have to enter it again each time. These session cookies are automatically deleted after you leave our website.

We use temporary cookies, which are stored on your terminal device for a certain fixed period of time, to optimise user-friendliness. If you visit our site again in order to use our services, we will automatically recognise that you have already been with us and what entries and settings you have made so that you do not have to enter them again.

On the other hand, we use cookies in order to statistically record and evaluate the use of our website and to optimise our offer for you. These cookies enable us to automatically recognise that you have already been with us when you visit our website again. These cookies are automatically deleted after a defined time. The data processed by cookies is required for the above-mentioned purposes to protect our legitimate interests and those of third parties in accordance with A. 6 P. 1 S. 1 L. f GDPR (DSGVO). Most browsers accept cookies automatically. If you do not wish us to recognise information about your computer, please set your Internet browser to delete cookies from your computer hard drive, block all cookies or to warn you before a cookie is stored. You can find out how to delete or block cookies in the help and support area of your Internet browser. There you will find instructions on how to find the file or directory where cookies are stored. Please note in any case that completely deactivating cookies may mean that you will not be able to use all the functions of our website.

6. online marketing/analysis tools

The tracking measures used by us are carried out on the basis of A. 6 P. 1 S. 1 L. f GDPR (DSGVO), § 15 P. 3 TMG. These interests are to be regarded as justified in the sense of the aforementioned regulation.

a) Matomo (formerly Piwik)

This offer uses Matomo, an open source software for statistical evaluation of user access. Matomo uses so-called ‘cookies’, text files that are stored on the user's computer and which enable an analysis of the use of the website by the users. The information generated by the cookie about the use of this offer is stored on the provider's server in Germany. The IP address is anonymised immediately after processing and before it is saved. Users can prevent the installation of cookies by adjusting their browser software accordingly; however, the provider draws the attention of users to the fact that in this case they may not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent.

7. social media

a) Facebook

Our website uses social plugins (‘plugins’) from the social network facebook.com, which is operated by Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA (‘Facebook’). When you open our website with the plugin, it establishes a direct connection with the Facebook servers via your browser. This transfers the information to Facebook that you have called up the page.

If you are logged in with your Facebook account, the visit to our website can be directly assigned to your profile by clicking on the plugin. Even if you do not have a profile, it cannot be ruled out that your IP address is stored by Facebook.

For the purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and use of data by Facebook, as well as your rights and setting options for the protection of your privacy, please refer to the Facebook data protection information (https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/).

If you are a member of Facebook and do not want Facebook to collect data about you via our online offer and link it with your membership data stored on Facebook, you must log out of Facebook before visiting our website and delete the corresponding Facebook cookies. It is also possible to block Facebook social plugins with add-ons for the browser, for example with the ‘Facebook Blocker’.

b) Twitter

Our website also integrates functions of the Twitter service. These functions are offered by Twitter Inc., 1355 Market St, Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA. By using Twitter and the ‘Re-Tweet’ function, the websites you visit are linked to your Twitter account and made known to other users. Data is also transferred to Twitter in the process. We would like to point out that we, as the provider of our website, have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by Twitter.

For further information, please refer to the Twitter privacy policy at http://twitter.com/privacy. You can change your privacy settings on Twitter in the account settings at http://twitter.com/account/settings.

To prevent Twitter from collecting data when you visit our website, please log out before visiting Twitter. To prevent Twitter from generally accessing your data via websites, you can exclude Twitter social plugins by using an add-on for your browser (e.g. ‘Twitter Blocker’, https://disconnect.me).

8. data security
